Hello, my name is Louise Jones and I’m a Clinical Hypnotherapist, practising in the South Stockport area of Cheshire and bordering on the Peak District.
Firstly, I would like to say that I am so lucky in that I love my work. My journey with holistic therapies began in 1996 and I have not looked back. When you truly believe something works you put your passion behind it and your passion leads the way.
I believe we are a complex system in which the body, the mind and the emotional centre work together in what should be a perfect balance. However, if one slips then it throws the rest out of whack as they struggle to manage. In principle, we should try to regain that balance and that is where holistic therapy comes into its own.
Stress and anxiety are two of the leading causes contributing to ill health in the UK. Chaotic, pressurised lifestyles; family breakdown together with possible financial repercussions; lack of personal time and the desire to be ‘Superman’ or Superwoman’, any one of which can raise our stress level above the danger zone. Worry and anxiety wreak untold damage and manifest in so many different ways and seriously affect our ability to lead happy productive and creative lives.
This is why I have chosen to focus on Hypnotherapy. It is a hugely effective and powerful tool to help combat the many spiralling anxiety issues that are prevalent in today’s society. If I can help a person restore their confidence and feel better in themselves, whether it’s stopping smoking, losing weight or helping them sleep, it makes a difference! A person’s mental clarity and approach to life can provide them with a strong support in maintaining the body’s natural balance promoting health and wellbeing. I believe in helping people help themselves and I will do all I can to support them in their efforts.
My qualifications are :
- Clinical Hypnotherapist
- Crystal Therapist
- Feng Shui Consultant
- Meditation Teacher
- Reiki Master (Teacher)
I am also a self-published author – ‘Poetry from the Heart – Words to Make your Soul Sing’ and a Regency novel ‘Runaway’ which I hope to publish early this year.
